Drs. Chelsea Accardo & Laura Tomaszewski welcome you to our practice!
We strive to make every experience our patients have at Accardo Endodontics exceptional, and we hope that you will feel comfortable and at ease during your treatment. Drs. Accardo and Tomaszewski will take the time to thoroughly explain all aspects of your endodontic procedure and answer any questions you may have before we get started. Laura Tomaszewski, DDS, MS
Dr. Laura Tomaszewski was born and raised in Slidell and hails from a family of dentists. Her brother and father are both highly regarded local dentists. Dr. Tomaszewski married her childhood friend and college sweetheart, Jimmy Graham (yes, he played football but he is not THAT Jimmy Graham). They live in Mandeville with her three beautiful boys, Louis, Henry and Beau. She is also an avid artist, enjoys dabbling in home design, is a fan of the New Orleans food scene and can do some fancy moves in her roller skates.
Dr. Tomaszewski, completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola New Orleans and finished at LSU Dental School in the class of 2010 with Dr. Chelsea Accardo. They both have fond memories of many nights studying together! Dr. Tomaszewski has extensive experience in pediatric dentistry and has been in private practice for the last 14 years focused solely on meeting the needs of local children and adolescents. She has recently completed advanced endodontic training at LSU and has published her research regarding the most recent endodontic techniques and materials.
Chelsea Accardo, DDS
Dr. Chelsea Accardo was born in Victoria, Canada. She attended LSU on a soccer scholarship where she was team captain her final year and named to the Academic All-American team. She obtained both her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and her Bachelor of Arts and Science in Sociology with a 4.0 GPA. She then attended LSU School of Dentistry and graduated as a member of the OKU honor society in 2010. Dr. Accardo completed her post-graduate specialty training in Endodontics at LSU and has been in private practice since 2012. She is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics since 2016.
She also gives back by traveling with mission trips, which allow her to continue to learn, research, and collaborate with other innovative colleagues in the field of dentistry. Dr. Accardo is also gratis faculty member at the dental school.
Dr. Accardo lives in New Orleans with her husband Nick and their two sons, Joe and Dean. She often attempts yoga, likes running and reading but mostly enjoys spending time with her family.
Nick
Nick was born in New Orleans and went to high school in Franklin Louisiana. After running track and cross country at LSU, Nick has had a prolific career as an ultramarathon runner. He was a member of Team USA that won a gold medal at the 100km World’s Championship Ultramarathon in 2014. You can often find Nick running around the entire city! Nick has a Master degree in Education and taught middle and high school, coached (wrestling, cross-county and track) and was the athletic director at Holy Rosary High School for 9 years. Nick is currently the head Cross Country and Track & Field coach with Jesuit High School and recently returned to full-time teaching at Jesuit High School. Nick is married to Dr. Chelsea Accardo and they have been married for 20 years and have two wonderful boys (aged 12 and 18).
Jasmine
Jasmine is a native New Orleanian and went to Warren Easton High School. She enjoys taking her daughter to art exhibits and museums throughout town. Jasmine loves going to all Louisiana festivals but especially Jazz Fest and French Quarter Fest. She also loves going to Saints games with her partner Joshua (who is a super fan!). Fun fact, Jasmine studied theatre in college and is a theatre buff. Jasmine has worked in the dental and medical fields for 14 years. She is our insurance specialist and receptionist extraordinaire!
Rae
Born and raised in New Orleans, Rae brings warmth and hometown charm to our practice. A proud alumna of Newman High School and Loyola University, Rae has spent the past eight years perfecting her skills as a dental assistant. Outside of the office, she loves baking, decorating, and spending time with her family. She prefers watching reality tv and game shows but often is "encouraged" to watch sports instead. She also has a spoiled French Bulldog named Durant (yes, like KD).
Lindsay
Lindsay is a dedicated dental assistant with over 10 years of experience. She brings an abundance of compassion and kindness to both her patients and co-workers. Lindsay is proud of her Salvadoran heritage and is fluent in both Spanish and English. Lindsay has 4 beautiful children, 2 cats and 1 dog. Outside of work she enjoys travelling and spending time in nature.
Amanda
Amanda is from Chalmette but grew up in the Kiln, Mississippi. She has been a dental assistant for nearly 2 decades and has always enjoyed helping others feel at ease and comfortable in the dental chair. Amanda is a fitness afficionado! She also likes to build Legos with her 11 year old son, spending time with her husband, volunteering at church and school and being with her family.
