Our younger patients have remarkable healing abilities. Frequently younger children, teens, and younger adults who traditionally would require a root canal treatment due to a large cavity may be able to have treatment which keeps their tooth pulp alive and working.
Regeneration
On a similar note, there is also a recently new technique that has been developed that can allow immature (not fully formed) teeth which have become infected to regrow and strengthen, called Regeneration.
