Although we know that needing a root canal may not be the best news you've received, we're glad you are here. We strive to make every experience our patients have at Accardo Endodontics exceptional, and we hope that you will feel comfortable and at ease during your treatment.

Chelsea Accardo, DDS
Dr. Chelsea Accardo was born in Victoria, Canada. She attended LSU on a soccer scholarship where she was team captain her final year and named to the academic All-American team. She obtained both her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and her Bachelor of Arts and Science in Sociology with a 4.0 GPA. She then attended LSU School of Dentistry and graduated as a member of the OKU honor society in 2010. Dr. Accardo completed her post-graduate specialty training in Endodontics at LSU.
Dr. Accardo has a passion for taking exceptional care of patients and working with her hands. She sees the beauty in a completed root canal and strives to make every patient's experience enjoyable - yes, even though they're getting a root canal!
She also gives back by traveling with mission trips, which allow her to continue to learn, research, and collaborate with other innovative colleagues in the field of dentistry. Dr. Accardo also teaches at the dental school, which she finds very rewarding.
Dr. Accardo lives in New Orleans with her husband Nick and their two sons, Joe and Dean. She often attempts yoga, likes running and reading but mostly enjoys spending time with her family.
Nick was born in New Orleans and went to high school in Franklin Louisiana. After running track and cross country at LSU, Nick has had a prolific career as an ultramarathon runner. He was a member of Team USA that won a gold medal at the 100km World’s Championship Ultramarathon in 2014. You can often find Nick running around the entire city! Nick has a Master degree in Education and taught middle and high school, coached (wrestling, cross-county and track) and was the athletic director at Holy Rosary High School for 9 years. Nick is married to Dr. Chelsea Accardo and they have been married for 14 years and have two wonderful boys (aged 6 and 12).
Amanda went to high school in Hancock County and has been a dental assistant for 11 years. She enjoys camping with her family, both taking and coaching fitness classes and being at home with her 4 year old son, her dachshund and her husband. Amanda’s favorite place is the beach and she can never get enough sea and sand. Amanda loves to keep things organized and tidy at home and the office. Amanda enjoys helping keep everyone happy and everything running smoothly as Dr. Accardo’s clinical assistant and office manager.
Joe grew up in South Mississippi and now lives in Slidell with his wife and 3 children and 2 dogs. Joe served 7 years as a Hospital Corpsman in the Navy. Joe developed a love of Sushi while stationed in Japan. He was also stationed in San Diego, Hawaii and Arizona. Joe likes taking his family to the Audubon zoo and aquarium. Joe pays extra close attention to your comfort and needs before, during and after any treatment as Dr. Accardo’s clinical assistant.
Jasmine is a native New Orleanian and went to Warren Easton High School. She enjoys taking her daughter to art exhibits and museums throughout town. Jasmine loves going to all Louisiana festivals but especially Jazz Fest and French Quarter Fest. She also loves going to Saints games with her partner Joshua (who is a super fan!). Fun fact, Jasmine studied theatre in college and is a theatre buff. Jasmine has worked in the dental and medical fields for 10 years. She is our insurance specialist and receptionist extraordinaire!
